Without a fixed deposit term, the depositor is required to give us a 7 days' notice in advance of withdrawing money in a foreign currency. This service only applies to foreign currencies, for which we publish notice deposit interest rates.
The minimum deposit required for this service is an equivalent of USD50,000, and the minimum amount of withdrawal is an equivalent of USD10,000. The service allows you to deposit the principal in one lump sum and withdraw the money in one or more installments. Any organization qualified to open a foreign currency account in China can establish a corporate notice deposit account with us. The opening procedure is governed by the regulations of CMB and the Administration of Exchange Control.
