Mr. WANG Liang is Secretary of the CPC Committee, Executive Director, and President of the Bank. Mr. Wang obtained a master's degree from Renmin University of China. He is a senior economist. He joined the Bank in June 1995 and successively served as Assistant General Manager, Deputy General Manager and General Manager of Beijing Branch of the Bank. He successively served as Executive Assistant President, Executive Vice President and First Executive Vice President of the Bank since June 2012. Mr. Wang has been presiding over overall business of the Bank since April 18th, 2022. He has been Secretary of the CPC Committee of the Bank since May 19th, 2022. He has been President of the Bank since June 15th, 2022. He concurrently serves as the authorised representative in charge of matters in relation to listing in Hong Kong, Chairman of CMB International Capital Holdings Corporation Ltd., Chairman of CMB International Capital Corporation Ltd., Chairman of CMB Wing Lung Bank, Chairman of Merchants Union Consumer Finance Co., Ltd., Director of China Merchants Financial Holdings Co., Ltd., Vice President of the Payment Clearing Association of China, a Director of the fourth session of the Professional Committee for Intermediary Business of the China Banking Association, an Executive Council Member of the sixth session of the Financial Accounting Society of China, and a Deputy of the 14th Guangdong Provincial People’s Congress.
