You may apply for Certificate of Deposit if a written statement certifying your accounts balance with CMB at any specific time or period of time is needed due to the reasons such as studying abroad, emigration, or visiting a relative abroad or some other businesses.

3)	Various types of deposits covered in Certificate: clients may request China Merchants Bank to include in the Certificate all types of deposits under their names, regardless of the currency, except for the deposits blocked due to some reasons.

How to Apply
Please take your "All-in-one-card"/bankbook/Time deposit receipt to any CMB banking offices in the city where you opened your account. (Proxies also needs to present their own ID proofs), and fill in "China Merchants Bank Certificate of Deposit Application Form".
