How to Apply
Individuals or institutions eligible to apply for Safe Custody rent service of China Merchants Bank include: Chinese citizens, residents in Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan, and foreign nationals with complete capacity of civil disposition; legally incorporated domestic and overseas companies, firms, social organizations that are involved in business activities in China; permanent branches of foreign or international organizations in China as well as other economic organizations. Those who intend to apply for Safe Custody need to sign Safe Custody rental contract to clearly define the rights and liabilities of both parties. Dangerous and caustic items that are flammable, explosive, leaking-prone, or radioactive are not allowed in safe-keeping box, the forbidden items like guns, ammunitions, detonators, illegal drugs and all sorts of liquid are not allowed. No one is permitted to commit crimes such as concealing booties in the safes.

1.	Application of individual clients: individuals who intend to apply for Safe Custody should present their valid ID; if apply for others, ID of both parties should be presented;
2.	Application of Institutional clients: institutional clients must present business license, letter of authorization (by legal representatives or officer in charge), and the box opening representative's valid ID, etc.;
