"Palm Banking" is an on-line personal banking and fund management software developed by China Merchants Bank based on palm computer platforms, which is also an extension of Personal Internet Banking Professional Edition to palm computer platform. It is a perfect combination of Internet banking and palm computers.
You may manage your funds and avail yourself of comprehensive fund management services via your palm computers.

Service Features

1. True mobile banking: Riding on wireless LAN technologies, palm computers can get access to the Internet any time, anywhere, and can stay on-line 24 hours a day for mobile fund management.

2. Powerful fund management service: Real time fund management services including account information inquiry, transfer, remittance, stocks trading, foreign exchange trading and government bonds trading.

3. Convenient: Directly perceived display; greater storage for information key-in; Personal fund management is easily accomplished by pointing the pen to the screen.

Service Channels
1. Channels for certificate application: over-the-cover of China Merchants Bank (No need to re-apply for holders of Personal Internet Banking Professional Edition certificate)
2. Channels for Use: Palm computers installed with POCKET PC operating system and Internet access. Device models currently available on the market are: Lenovo Tianji XP series, Tianji 5000 series, ET180 series, Duopuda 686 series, and HP-Compaq POCKET PC series.

How to Apply
As a bankcard holder of China Merchants Bank, you may apply for Palm Banking service as follows:
1. Holders of Personal Internet Banking Professional Edition certificate do not need to re-apply, just restore the certificate to your palm computer;
2. Non-holders of Personal Internet Banking Professional Edition certificate please take your valid ID and bankcards issued by CMB to any banking offices of CMB, fill in “China Merchants Bank Personal Internet Banking Certificate Application Form,” apply for the service, receive an authorization code, and follow the steps listed in the Operational Procedure section.
