CMB provides Trade Finance Facility for transactions either under import or export documentary collection. 

Being an exporter, you may present the shipping documents to CMB, and CMB may decide to purchase the documents (discount the bills of exchange);

If you are an importer, you may as well apply for an advance from CMB when shipping documents are received.

However, before you request CMB to grant you an advance under documentary collection, you need to apply for a Trade Finance Facility first.
