With international collection service, the beneficiary presents his financial bills and/or commercial documents to his bank for the collection of payment.

Clean Collections
We may collect the payments of draft, promissory note, cheque or traveler' s cheque for you.

There are two alternative ways for you:

·Cash Letter Service: By this service, CMB' s account will be credited by our correspondent immediately after receipt by them of our Cash Letter according to the terms of the agreement between us. In the meantime your account will also be credited immediately upon receipt by us of the funds from our correspondent. Payment by this means is quick and less expensive but is subject to recourse if the bills are dishonoured upon presentation.

·Final Payment service: By this service, your account can be credited only after the drawee finally pays. It is slow but without recourse.

Documentary Collections:
Export Collection: After you shipped the goods for exports, you may present your shipping documents to China Merchants Bank for the collection of payment. What you need to do is to fill in the application form for export collection with clear payment terms and instructions for the collection and CMB will do the rest of the job.
You may try to apply for our Export Collection Advance when you need, but it is subject to our sole decision.

Imports Collection:
When the goods are imported and the exporter' s bank is instructed to collect the proceeds via CMB, we shall present documents to you for payment or acceptance as the case may be.
