Application Process

1. Establishment of Account: Please carry the original copy of your company's business license, Legal Person Code Certificate and their photocopies (marked with your common seal) as well as your corporate common seal, bank specimen stamp/seal (financial seal or private stamps) to the nearest China Merchants Bank service outlet, and open your account. (Those who have already opened 201 current deposit account, 204 PLA deposit account, 232 inter-bank fund lodging account, or 2211 ordinary fiscal deposit account with the China Merchants Bank are exempted from this step.)

2. Fill in application form/agreement: You may claim "On-line Corporate Banking Service Agreement" and "On-line Corporate Banking Application Form" from your account hosting bank, or you may download the papers from the website (log in On-line Corporate Banking Community, and click "Business Forms," 3 copies of service agreements and four copies of application forms are required). Fill in these papers, mark each copy of the agreement with your common seal, and mark each copy of application form with your bank specimen seal/stamp. (In case your company has several accounts each with a different specimen seal/stamp, please prepare a complete set of application forms for each account); select the software edition and log-in methods you desire; define the services you want to activate, and finally submit all these application forms and agreements to your account hosting bank.

3. Bank examination and approval: At sight of the clients' application, the bank checks the identity of the client, and verifies information indicated on application forms and agreements.

4. Client service center maintenance: The client service center opens an account as per  the client's application, prints and delivers account opening documents as well as system administration password envelop, IC card password envelop, etc.

5. Client claiming account opening documents, digital certificate card and card reader-writer: The client obtains system administrator client number, digital certificate card, card reader-writer, as well as device driver, etc.

6. Download setup program: Digital certificate users first install card reader-writer and its driver before downloading the Corporate Banking setup program from the China Merchants Bank website (www.cmbchina.com);

7. System Configuration: LAN proxy users may need to reconfigure communications parameters; digital certificate users are recommended to first test the certificate and card reader-writer;
