Trusteeship for Entrusted Investment Management Service is an intermediate service product, with which, the China Merchants Bank as the trustee of fund management, signs a three-party "Trusteeship for Entrusted Investment Management Service Agreement" with the assets consigner and assets managing institution; the bank, abiding by pertinent state laws and regulations as well as clauses in the "Trusteeship for Entrusted Investment Management Service Agreement," supervises the investment operations of the assets managing institution, and takes agent for clearing, accounting and value assessment services, for trusteeship fee collectable from the assets consigner.

Target Clients
Enterprises and institutions in possession of some idling funds, and wishing to achieve fund appreciation through investment; or fairly competent securities companies capable of comprehensive business, licensed by the China Securities Regulatory Commission for entrusted investment management service.

Function Description

1.	Keeping: the China Merchants Bank keeps all the entrusted assets in safe, manages the bank accounts, funds account and shareholder accounts of the entrusted assets;
2.	Supervision: Abiding by pertinent state laws and regulations as well as clauses in the "Trusteeship for Entrusted Investment Management Service Agreement," the China Merchants Bank supervises the investment operations of the assets managing institution;
3.	Accounting: The China Merchants Bank, in the name of assets trustee, prepares independent accounting books, and carries out accounting an assets value evaluation;
4.	Clearing: Upon the clearing instruction from the assets manager, the China Merchants Bank performs fund clearing on the entrusted assets;
5.	Assets Evaluation: Abiding by the clauses in the "Trusteeship for Entrusted Investment Management Service Agreement," the China Merchants Bank carries out evaluation operation on the entrusted assets.
