With Securities Fund Clearing Agent Service, the China Merchants Bank avail of its own electronic exchange system and corporate banking system to provide fund clearing service between head offices of securities companies or their business departments and the securities exchange houses in Shanghai and Shenzhen. Upon instruction of payment from the securities companies or collection instructions from the securities exchange houses in Shanghai or Shenzhen, the China Merchants Bank transfers settlement proceeds through its electronic exchange system to the designated beneficiaries.
