On October 28, China Merchants Bank and the State Ministry of Railway signed an agreement on profound cooperation. The bank and MOR will start a strategic partnership on a basis of honesty, equality, trust and mutual support.

According to the agreement, CMB branches will closely cooperate with the headquarters to provide MOR, its enterprises and organizations efficient, professional, and comprehensive quality services. EMB will also offer a credit limit of RMB 10 billion to MOR for loans, banker' s acceptance bills, L/G, and other trade finance operations. In addition, CMB and MOR will cooperate on a larger area, including fee-based services, wealth management, and pension scheme etc.
