March 19, at the award ceremony for the "Excellence Retail Financial Service Awards" organized by The Asian Banker Magazine, Ma Weihua, President and CEO of the company, was the first and only president of a Chinese Commercial bank to receive the title of the "The Retail Banker of the Year 2008" in Asia Pacific. Meanwhile, the company received "The Best Retail Bank in China" and "The Best Joint Stock Retail Bank in China".
